Cookie Settings Here

Cookie notices tend to be long because most websites carry a long list of trackers. This one can be short, because World Media Academy Games carries none. Here is exactly what is stored, where, and how you can change it.

Last updated: October 2026.

The short version

  • No analytics cookies.
  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No social media cookies.
  • One small entry in your browser that remembers your answer to the cookie notice.

What is actually stored

When you click one of the buttons on the cookie notice, the site writes a single entry into your browser's local storage. Local storage works much like a cookie but is never sent along with requests to a server. It contains only your choice, so that the notice does not appear on every page you open.

The entry is identical whether you accept or decline, apart from the answer itself. Declining changes nothing about how the site works, because there is nothing optional to switch off.

Changing your choice

To see the notice again, clear the stored data for this website in your browser. In most browsers you can do this from the padlock or site information icon in the address bar, or from the privacy section of the settings menu, under an option such as "site data" or "cookies and site data". After clearing it, reload any page and the notice will return.

Private or incognito windows usually discard local storage when they close, so you may see the notice each time you visit in one.

Things outside our control

Our articles sometimes point to outside websites. Once you follow such a link, the other site's own cookie policy applies, and it may use cookies we have no say over. Your browser settings let you block third-party cookies generally if you prefer.

Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs to deliver pages and keep the service secure. These are not cookies and are explained on Privacy at the Academy.
