Rules for Readers

These are the terms that apply when you read or use World Media Academy Games. Reading or using the site means you agree to them. They are written to be short and readable; if anything is unclear, ask us through the Write to the Academy page.

Everything published here is general information about games, betting terms and everyday money habits. It is not financial, legal, tax or professional advice, and it does not take your personal situation into account. Before making decisions that matter, especially about money or debt, speak to an independent, qualified adviser.

2. Adults only

Articles about gambling are written for readers aged 18 and over. Some countries and regions set a higher minimum age, and where they do, that higher age applies. If you are under the relevant age, please do not use gambling services of any kind.

3. Your local law comes first

Gambling laws differ greatly between countries and sometimes between regions of the same country. A game or betting service described on this site may be restricted or illegal where you live. It is your responsibility to check, and nothing on this site should be read as encouragement to break local rules.

4. No promises about results

Games of chance carry a built-in cost to the player over time. We explain how games work, but no article, example or rule of thumb on this site can guarantee a win or prevent a loss. Worked examples use made-up numbers to show arithmetic, and paytables quoted from real games can change. Always read the rules and paytable of the game you are actually playing.

5. Accuracy and corrections

We take care to get rules and figures right and we review older guides over time, as described on How Each Guide Is Checked. Even so, mistakes and outdated details can slip through. We cannot accept liability for losses arising from reliance on the content. If you find an error, tell us and we will look at it promptly.

6. Links to other websites

A number of our articles point to outside websites, gaming companies among them. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, terms, privacy practices or services. Following a link does not mean we vouch for every aspect of the site behind it. Check any operator's licence and terms yourself before using it.

7. Using our content

The articles, page designs and graphics on this site belong to World Media Academy Games. You may read them, print them for personal use and share links to them freely. Copying whole articles or substantial parts of them to republish elsewhere requires our written permission. Brief quotes are welcome as long as they credit and link to the source page.
